Firstly we would like to say welcome to Football Icon Academy and thank you for taking time to visit our website. We have a huge passion to developing the next footballing generation and look forward to working with you along our continued journey.
Owner, Adam Cash has several years of experience playing the game and is taking huge action in developing boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Our programmes and coaching methods are designed to build players confidence and to improve individuals ball control.
We work with children aged 4-18 years old and have a number of different programmes to help develop boys and girls of all abilities. We currently have a number of development centres in the South East of the UK and work in schools day to day. Our coaching team are all DBS checked and are Level 2 or above FA Qualified.
Adam Cash
Founder & Director
Adam Cash is the visionary and founder of the Football Icon Academy. Having played academy football in his younger years, Adam played semi-professionally in the conference leagues. After 3 ACL injuries he set up Football Icon Academy in 2018 which has become one of the UK's leading training programmes.
Billy Baker
Head of Operations
Billy is a highly respected coach at Football Icon Academy, known for his enthusiasm, professionalism and ability to build strong relationships with players of all ages.
With extensive coaching experience across grassroots and academy football, Billy delivers engaging sessions that challenge players technically while creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment.
His coaching philosophy centres on developing confident footballers who are comfortable in possession, make intelligent decisions and enjoy expressing themselves on the pitch. Billy places great emphasis on effort, attitude and continual improvement, helping every player reach their individual potential regardless of their starting point.
His approachable nature and attention to detail have made him a popular coach with both players and parents throughout the academy.
Jack McKnight Head Coach
Jack is a dedicated Football Icon Academy coach with a passion for helping young players develop both on and off the pitch.
Drawing on his playing and coaching experience, Jack creates sessions that combine high energy with excellent technical detail, ensuring every player is challenged while enjoying their football.
Jack believes that consistent coaching, hard work and a positive mindset are the foundations of long-term success. He encourages players to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes and continually strive to improve their game.
His calm manner, professionalism and commitment to player development make him a valued member of the Football Icon Academy coaching team.
John Fletcher
Head of Football
John is an experienced football coach who brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and enthusiasm to Football Icon Academy.
He is passionate about creating an environment where players feel supported, challenged and inspired to improve. John focuses on developing technically capable footballers while also helping players build confidence, resilience and a strong understanding of the game.
His sessions are carefully planned to provide maximum ball contact, decision-making opportunities and game-realistic situations that accelerate player development.
John is committed to ensuring every player enjoys their football while receiving high-quality coaching that supports their long-term progression, whatever their ambitions may be.
